Honored with Sitara-e-Samaj
I am deeply honored to have been awarded the prestigious “Sitara-e-Samaj” by the Pakistan Social Association at the 93rd Social Workers Conference. This recognition, bestowed by Brigadier (R) Abdul Qayyum and former ADG FIA Syed Ammar Hussain Jaffri, acknowledges the work I have been doing to promote cyber security across Pakistan.
Recognition of My Services for a Cyber Secure Pakistan
The “Sitara-e-Samaj” award is a significant milestone in my journey as a cybersecurity advocate. It recognizes my efforts to build a safer digital landscape through my initiative, Cyber Security of Pakistan. Through this platform, I have been able to reach and educate thousands of young enthusiasts and professionals, spanning both public and private sectors.
Impact of Cyber Security of Pakistan
My journey began with a vision to create a secure cyber environment in Pakistan, where individuals and organizations are empowered with the knowledge and tools needed to protect themselves from digital threats. Over the years, Cyber Security of Pakistan has grown into a beacon of cybersecurity awareness, conducting workshops, seminars, and training sessions nationwide.
- Engagement with Youth: One of the core focuses of my initiative has been to engage with the youth, who are the most active users of digital platforms. By targeting this demographic, I have been able to instill a culture of cybersecurity awareness from an early age. This not only helps in reducing the risk of cyber threats but also prepares the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
- Partnership with Organizations: The initiative has also partnered with various public and private sector organizations to provide tailored cybersecurity training. This has included everything from basic cyber hygiene to advanced techniques in cyber threat detection and response. The result has been a more resilient and prepared workforce, capable of defending against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.
Moving Forward
Receiving the “Sitara-e-Samaj” is not just a personal achievement; it is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved in Cyber Security of Pakistan. This recognition strengthens my resolve to continue working towards a cyber-secure Pakistan. Moving forward, I aim to expand the reach of our awareness campaigns, develop more advanced training modules, and collaborate with international cybersecurity organizations to bring the latest knowledge and tools to Pakistan.
