Pakistan Development Institute’s Attacked by Indian Hackers
In a recent cybersecurity breach, Pakistan’s Federal Development Institute website was allegedly hacked by Indian actors, leaving the phrase “Jay Shri Ram,” a slogan associated with Hindu nationalism, prominently displayed on the site.
The attackers left additional messages, including “we are unknown” and “we will not forget,” indicating their anonymity while issuing a stark warning. They claimed access to the main server and threatened further attacks if what they described as Pakistani interference in Indian cyberspace did not cease.

This incident underscores the ongoing digital conflict between India and Pakistan, reflecting larger geopolitical tensions. It also exposes vulnerabilities in government websites, raising concerns about the use of cyberattacks for political statements.
Earlier in June, Pakistani hackers allegedly targeted the Indian government with the DISGOMOJI malware, designed to infiltrate Linux-based systems. DISGOMOJI, identified by BlackBerry as a powerful espionage tool, is linked to Transparent Tribe, a hacking group believed to have ties with Pakistan.
