پاکستان میں ملزم کا سراغ لگانے اور تفتیش کے لیے ابھی تک روائتی طریقوں کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے جبکہ مجرم جدید ٹیکنالوجی کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے متعلق آگاہی نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے پولیس افسران کو تحقیقات میں دشواریوں کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے جس کی وجہ سے تحقیقات و مجرم کا سراغ لگانے میں بھی بہت زیادہ وقت لگتا ہے۔ اس کے برعکس اگر پولیس کو جدید ٹیکنالوجی کی ٹریننگ کروائی جائے تو ٹیکنالوجی کے استعمال سے تحقیقات کے دوران پیش آنے والی مشکلات کو کم کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ کم وقت میں تحقیقات مکمل کی جا سکتی ہیں۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار سائبر سکیورٹی ایکسپرٹ محمد اسد الرحمن نے سابق ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر جنرل ایف آئی اے سید عمار حسین جعفری کے ہمراہ رحیم یار خان ڈی پی او آفس میں پولیس افسران کو ٹریننگ دیتے ہوئے کیاجس میں انہوں نے افسران کو ٹریننگ دی کہ سائبر سپیس میں مجرموں کو کیسے پکڑا جا سکتا ہے۔

انہوں نے پولیس کو جدید ٹیکنالوجی سے ہم آہنگ کرنے کی ایڈیشنل آئی جی ساؤتھ پنجاب کیپٹن (ر) ظفر اقبال کی تجویز کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملک بھر میں پولیس کو جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے متعلق ٹریننگ کروانے کی اشد ضرورت ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید بتایا کس طرح جدید ٹیکنالوجی کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے مجرم ہمارے موبائل، کمپیوٹر تک رسائی حاصل کرتے ہوئے با آسانی ہماری تمام معلومات و ڈیٹا چوری کر سکتے ہیں۔ لہذا سائبر سپیس میں مجرم کو ڈھونڈتے ہوئے پہلے اپنے ڈیٹا و انفارمیشن کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنائیں۔ اس موقع پر فہد اقبال،عدنان بخش، حافظ جواد، عائشہ رزاق، ضلع رحیم یار خان کے ڈی ایس پیز، ایس ایچ اوز و دیگر پولیس افسران موجود تھے۔
